It looks like we have another mess going on. Everyone stay safe and be careful. You may not want to go out unless you feel you can defend yourself. Even non-violent creatures are prone to attacking.

[With that said, she'll go outside later, after spotting a certain creature outside of her window in CH7.]

[Today, during the hectic mess getting out of hand, you may notice around the village a very adorable cat-like creature, walking or even sprinting through the area. If it happens to spot you it'll draw closer. But, if it comes too close...well let's just say that even the most harmless of creatures can become dangerous in this sudden burst of Battledome simulations.

Have no fear though, because around the village there is someone hunting these adorable little things. And if she spots one, she'll be quick to blow it's head off using a faint purple blast of magic. Thankfully this particular brand of adorable creature is very easily to kill. Yet for every time she seems to kill one, a new one pops up in its place.

...Of course, at some point, the sheer number of them come after her. She may be slightly surrounded, but she can handle it. Right...okay no probably not.]

[ Did someone say slightly surrounded? You know who not only likes to show off as a super amazing hero, but is also really great at defense? This gal. Right. Hurr. Spiraling down from a rooftop (because flashy entrances are flashy with her lance out, the young girl lands in a manner to soften the impact on her legs. Not entirely necessarily (what is pain in this body?) but still a habit she can't quite shake yet.

As soon as she's down, there's red shimmering around the two, a familiar chain emblem barrier making it's presence known as it encompasses the pair. ]

Sheesh, can you explain this crap already? I was hoping I would never have to see this creepy rat again and here you are, being chased by a ton of them! I haven't even had a chance to eat lunch!

[Homura backs away as Kyouko suddenly pops up and frowns deeply. Oh cool, this person. She'll take advantage of the free time, despite the Kyuubeys slowly coming out again to circle them around the chain barrier.]

Something odd is happening in this village. However, I don't know if these are hallucinations or something else. This isn't Kyuubey.

[Not that it would stop Homura from blasting him, real or not.]

[Lina has had plenty of reminders over the course of the past day or so that small, fluffy, harmless, tiny creatures are inexplicably out for her blood. So she is wary when the adorable cat-like creature comes scurrying up to her.

...that doesn't make the sight of Homura blowing its head off any less shocking. Lina yelps in fright, stumbling backwards.] Jeez!

[Homura puts down her hand, as soon as she confirms the Kyuubey is taken out, and flips a part of her hair over her shoulder.]

I'm fine. That was kind of the last thing I was expecting to attack me, but I'm fine.

[She indicates Homura.] Looks like you're doing much better for yourself.

I can heal myself as well, just not as fast. [Seeing as her body pretty much runs on magical energy, she can't use it too much just for healing.] Regardless, I thank you for the offer of assistance.

[Is hunting cute little fluffy creatures the norm here? It's just Yuuka seems to take great joy in watching the fuzzy critters get shot down in blasts of magic, holding her hands up and clapping as if applauding a play. She's tempted to skewer one with her parasol, but she seems content watching for now.]

My my, such a wonderful display~ Perhaps you could try incorporating other techniques along with your magic to make this show all the more entertaining?

[With a polite bow she'll step around Homura before slamming her parasol into the creature, watching as it disappears in a burst of light.]

This would be much more satisfying were it a tad more realistic, but oh well~

[ Madoka happens to spot one of the Kyuubeys and.. well, obviously it's enough to surprise her for a moment, and so as she chases after it for a bit in curiosity. Did Kyuubey really arrive here, and if so--

She doesn't have time to finish that chain of thought though, because when she has run for a little distance, she suddenly spots Homura off in the distance. But when she gets even a bit closer, she notices what's going on. The creature seems to have multiplied to this amount, and with Homura shooting at all them..

Her eyes grow wide. ]

H-- Homura-chan..!

[However, Homura is cut off mid-sentence as two of the Kyuubey simulations jump at her, bearing sharp teeth to bite at her arm. She quickly reacts to the sudden ambush, managing to pull one off her by the ears and toss it away. The other one manages to bite her, as she attempts to pry it off as well.]

[ She knows she can't fight. She's not like Homura, or even Mami or Sayaka or Kyouko.. So part of her probably knows it's better for her to stay somewhere safe at the sidelines. But if one of her friends is attacked in front of her like this, can she really just sit back and watch..? No, of course she can't let herself do that.

She rushes forward to help Homura in any way - maybe she can help prying off the creatures as well, but when she's very close to Homura another Kyuubey clone jumps at her, and she only narrowly manages to avoid it by chance. She turns around to stare at it, actually looking a bit scared now. ]

A-are you okay, Homura-chan? [ Her voice shakes in fear. ]

[Homura manages to pry the other one off her, just as she sees one of them lunging for Madoka. She quickly extends her hand to fire a blast at it, but misses as it goes down from Madoka's evasion. Damn. And more of them will probably come.]

Madoka, lets go.

[She then takes one of Madoka's hands and begins pulling the girl away. The safety of her friend comes before getting rid of these things.]

[ She obediently follows. Of course she has little choice with Homura holding her hand like that, but.. she doesn't really mind running away from a situation like this together, even if she doesn't fully get it yet. ]

W-what was that.. That was Kyuubey, right? But why..

[Okay this Homura girl has issues. First she taught her guns, and just now she saw the chick blasting three different cat-things heads' off as she was walking to get some groceries. It's made somewhat more unnerving that she did it while the road they on appears to have changed into what she can only assume is a Disney Castle.
