It looks like we have another mess going on. Everyone stay safe and be careful. You may not want to go out unless you feel you can defend yourself. Even non-violent creatures are prone to attacking.

[With that said, she'll go outside later, after spotting a certain creature outside of her window in CH7.]

[Today, during the hectic mess getting out of hand, you may notice around the village a very adorable cat-like creature, walking or even sprinting through the area. If it happens to spot you it'll draw closer. But, if it comes too close...well let's just say that even the most harmless of creatures can become dangerous in this sudden burst of Battledome simulations.

Have no fear though, because around the village there is someone hunting these adorable little things. And if she spots one, she'll be quick to blow it's head off using a faint purple blast of magic. Thankfully this particular brand of adorable creature is very easily to kill. Yet for every time she seems to kill one, a new one pops up in its place.

...Of course, at some point, the sheer number of them come after her. She may be slightly surrounded, but she can handle it. Right...okay no probably not.]

Then it seems we've reached the home stretch. Why not go for broke?

[ she does a slight twirl, causing numerous more rifles to spill out of wherever they come from... before picking one up in each of her hands. ]

You go first, Kaname-san. Go straight for the teleporter and don't look back.

[ Madoka glances from the girls to the barracks and then back to the girls again. She knows she doesn't have to worry about leaving them behind for a moment, they can handle whatever appears, but she can't say she's not a little afraid of running ahead on her own. But if Homura and Mami would want her to, she can make herself be a little more brave. ]

Alright. [ A nod. ] Don't worry about me!

[ because she is already worrying enough for herself by now.. But either way she turns, starting to run towards the big building. ]

[But before she gets a chance to voice objections to Mami's proposal, Madoka is already running.]

What are you thinking, just sending her running like that?!

[ she fires a rifle at another creature rushing at madoka, before discarding it to the side. she sweeps another rifle still locked in the ground with a foot, kicking it into her other hand before firing again. ]

If she gets in any trouble, you can handle it... can't you?

[ though she had no intention of letting madoka get into any trouble, she had to admit the opportunity to confirm her suspicions about homura's power was tempting as well. mami's eyes remained glued to madoka's retreating figure, even more so than on any threats to herself, but nonetheless she watched the black haired girl closely as well. ]

[ She probably doesn't even hear Homura and Mami's words anymore, completely losing herself in just making sure she makes it to the building and the teleporter before anything will be able to get her.

When she hears the sound of a gunshot she lets out a slight yelp - glancing to the side for a moment to see it was a creature being taken care of - but she still makes sure to just keep running instead. ]

[Dammit Mami, what are you thinking with doing this?]

You'll go next then. It shouldn't be any trouble for you, right?

I said I would cover the rear, didn't I? You should go ahead.

[ another smile. ] You're still my underclassman after all. It wouldn't do to leave you behind.

[ Well, at least Madoka seems to have reached the building itself relatively safely.. but she's still a little unsure about using the teleporter while Mami and Homura are still back there. So at the front of the building, she actually turns to stand there and look at the other two girls, as if waiting for them. ]

[She looks at Mami briefly when the other says that, but then quickly turns back to Madoka. Good, she made it safely. Homura sighs quietly and then proceeds to go down the same path Madoka did, shooting quickly at any simulations that may pass by.]

[ hm... well things are going quite well, thankfully. and as she said, she does cover homura as she goes, firing a few shots at anything that dares to get close. soon enough she follows quick behind and reaches the other two at last. ]

So then, shall we go? [ desperate though the situation may have been, there was no need to rush. ]

[ Madoka is very, very relieved when they both arrive there, especially since they're pretty close to the teleporter now, and if it's really more safe in the mountains.. ]

Hmm, let's go! It's safe for now, so..

We can only go one at a time, but it shouldn't take it long to bring us there. We'll be by a hotsprings once we arrive.

Ah, it's a shame now isn't really an ideal time for a dip...

[ sigh. ] Maybe later.

Ehehe, I'm not so sure I'd like to be in the hot springs if those things could still attack us, yes..

[She...doesn't really mind going to hotsprings either, but yeah not the right time. ~~and no comment on it~~]

We should go. Mami Tomoe, you were the last one to come here, so you should be the first to go.

That's fine with me. [ plunging into the unknown... in this case, going first was probably the most dangerous position since the other two couldn't be counted on for support. ]

Well then, I shall see you both on the other side. [ she smiled, curtseying before disappearing into the teleporter. ]

Should Mami-san be okay..? [ Mami is strong and all and they're coming right after her, but Madoka just can't help but worry with all these creatures all around okay..

She shakes her head, trying to focus again. ]

... Should I go next then, Homura-chan?

You may. [She looks behind her, to see if there are any simulations lurking around. None so far...] Stay safe. I'll be right behind you both.

[ on her side of the portal, things were about as she expected... but without having to worry about friendly fire, there was at least no reason to hold back at all. ]

Hm... this is strangely stress relieving. [ she commented, before opening fire on a horde of the kyuubey imitations. ]

You stay safe too.. No matter what happens, you'll just quickly use the portal after me, right..?

[ She gives the girl one last nod before following after Mami into the portal, where her eyes immediately turn a bit wide to find Mami fighting another group of those things already. ]

[For a moment, Homura hesitates. She never actually used this teleporter before and only heard about it from others. What if she's wrong? What if it took them to a far worse place?

But she pushes aside those nerves, when she hears the sound of more creatures coming toward her, and moves into the teleporter. She arrives shortly after the other two.]

Is everything alright?

[ Mami is just finishing up picking off a few final targets as Homura arrives. The girl discards her final remaining muskets, before turning to the other two. ]

So much for this location being secure. [ sigh. ] But I suppose we have to press on.

No way.. They've even come all the way up here..

[ Madoka does really sound discouraged for a moment when Mami says that, glancing over her shoulder to make sure it's really Homura being there safely with them now. ]

B-but if they even got this far, is there anywhere we could go at all?

[But...she was sure they wouldn't be here. Was she wrong then...]

I'm sorry for this. There might be an empty area where we can at least rest. The simulations don't seem to appear as much during the night.

[ Mami places a hand on madoka's shoulder, giving her a warm smile. ]

We've been fine so far, haven't we? Don't give up hope just yet. I still think our situation is better now than it was before.
