H...How...

[Homura pauses, trying to find her voice. The camera is slightly obscured, but it's obvious she is wearing some form of a lion costume (minus the medal). Yes not even she is safe from the experiment and has been turned into the Lion from Oz. She has been hiding from much of the village since this began, too terrified to even get on the journals until now.

The girl takes a deep breath and asks, in a rather rushed voice-]

How does one learn to brave? I want to be brave like a lot of other people here, but I don't know how. I heard there might be a wizard who can give me bravery, but I don't know where he is. And I'm too frightened to go out to find him alone...

...That was all. Thank you!

[Action;]

[After making that post, Homura decided that she is going to try going out again. Maybe she can meet someone who knows where the Wizard of Oz is! ...Yet when she goes out, she is unable to even go on the main path of the village, too terrified of all the strange people.

So, she'll likely be found hiding. Crouching behind bushes, looking around from behind tree and buildings and all sorts of places. It isn't that she doesn't want to talk -- she's just too damn cowardly.]

[ Mami was gone. That was something Madoka was sure of now. When she suddenly couldn't find her roommate anymore for a day or so, Madoka had first figured that maybe the girl was just somewhere else in the village, maybe doing something so important that she didn't have to tell her, but.. by now there was no doubt anymore, she was just gone.

... It feels a little sad. Especially since she tries so hard to not think of what Mami is going back to, even if the thought of never being able to talk to her again is already sad in itself. And she figures that.. well, she and Homura are the only two left, right? She should definitely go and tell the other girl.

But first she's out by herself, taking a small walk, maybe to clear her mind a bit and try to calm her emotions a bit again too, even if that last part isn't helping much. But as she's walking, she spots something funny sticking out of the bushes. What's that..? ]

... U.. um, is anyone there?

[...Was that Madoka? It was. Her best friend, who was the bravest person she has ever known. Maybe she could help!

Tentatively, Homura pokes her head slowly from behind the bush.]

M...Madoka? That's you, right?

[Is that a girl in a lion costume? And is she cowering? Kurt isn't quite in costume right now. so he drops out of the tree he's in, right behind her.]

Are you okay?

[Pay no mind to the blue boy. Sure, he has unearthly glowing yellow eyes, animal like fangs, faun-like legs, a hunched over manner of standing, and a long tail with a devil's spike at the end. Not to mention the fact he's covered in fine, midnight blue fur. Totally nothing to be scared about.]

Aaah!

[Homura screams a little, the voice shocking her. But then, when she turns around, she is frightened even more by his appearance. Normally she wouldn't be too spooked, but needless to say she's terrified out of her wit right now.]

P-Please don't eat me. I wouldn't taste good, I promise!

Homura-chan..!

[ Exactly the person she was going to seek out either, so her first surprise is because of seeing Homura. And then it probably moves on to the.. rather strange costume (even if more people have been acting strange here lately) and the fact that she was behind that bush. ]

That's right, it's me.. [ She steps over quickly. ] Are you okay?

Y...Yes I am. I'm sorry.

[She slowly stands up and moves away from the bush. There was no need to be afraid of her friend.]

I was just stalking behind the bushes, looking for prey! [Lie. But, maybe then her friend won't suspect she was cowering.] How are you?

[ Today's Homura is.. a little bit different.. ]

I.. I'm okay.. [ Her expression is slightly awkward, but she tries to smile just a tiny bit all the same. She's pretty sad over Mami leaving, but.. ] Actually, there was something I wanted to talk to you about, but more importantly.. what's this about prey?

Well, I am a lion! I need to eat! ...But, I can't find anything yet. [At least nothing she isn't too cowardly to attack.] What do you want to tell me?

But you're not a real lion, right, Homura-chan?

[ A slightly nervous giggle. Are we having play pretend now.. But her expression turns a bit more downcast at the other subject. ]

And.. um, it's about Mami-san.

[Oh jeez this is so not the reaction he was looking for. He holds up his hands to show he means no ill will and pacify her.]

Relax! I don't want to eat you!

[So Homura! Somewhere in the forest, you are going to find a crowd of crows gathered up in one place. Do you dare take a closer look to see what's going on?]

[Homura tries to calm down and relax. Okay he said he means no harm, so it's okay. It is. It is okay. She slowly takes some breathes, gulps and nods.]

...Okay I trust you. But h-how did you sneak up on me like that?

Eh?

[Best friend what do you mean by that :|

Homura brushes it off, when Madoka mentions Mami. Mami was also a very brave person. Did the two brave people she know need help from a coward like her?]

What about Mami Tomoe?

[NO.

But she is curious about the crows. They look kinda freaky, all gathered up. She swallows down her fear and hesitantly starts walking toward them.]

[Well! That was easy. Usually he has to work a little harder to try and clam people down.]

I was in the tree.

[She's only calm right now because she doesn't want to make him mad. Demons eat people who make them mad!]

The...tree? [She blinks, looking up there for a moment before trailing her eyes back to him.] Do you live there?

[If only he knew! But he will just mark it down as being his dashing good looks and charm. Even though his face falls flat at her question.]

... no. I live in town.

Oh. I see. [She's surprised. Demons normally live in forests, not in towns!] Why are you here then? Are you going somewhere?

[He shrugs.] I like hanging out in trees, that's all. What are you doing out here?

[ un.. sure.. but hey, she can figure out the lion business later, this first part is pretty important. ]

Well.. I think she was sent home again. She disappeared a little while ago and she hasn't been back since, and her stuff is gone as well, so.. [ Her voice trails off, a little unsure - she's still trying to hold back the sadness a little, but it shows up on her face. ]

Me? I'm, uh, stalking! For prey! Lions have to eat.

[They pay no attention to her! Because currently they are pecking at what it seems to be... a garbage bag? No, garbage don't have arms or legs.

That is... That is definitely a person laying down and weakly muttering something under his breath.]

... ah, because you're a lion. [What fairy tales have lions in them? Hmmm.] Be careful around thorn bushes, yeah?

[For a moment, Homura feels like she's regaining a bit of conscious behavior and is a bit awestruck. That means it's only the two of them now alone. Mami is back to being...well, dead. For a moment she thinks of questioning Madoka, but she holds it back. Madoka wouldn't just announce this without thinking it through and searching herself.]

I see. Are...you okay, Madoka?

Thorn bushes!? [She quickly turns around and...nope it's not a thorn bush! Thank goodness.] I will be! Thank you.

[Oh wait, that reminds her. Maybe he knows where the wizard is!]

E-Excuse me, may I ask you- do you know which way it is to the Wizard?
