[Written;]

[This morning a set of writing will appear. The writer, one Homura Akemi, is obscuring the camera angle so she won't be noticed. Not because she wants to hide her identity, but rather the makeshift bandages around her body. She's still slowly recovering using the Soul Gem's properties, but it isn't a fast paced healing in the slightest.]

Does anyone know where that attacker from two weeks ago is? It was stated by someone over the feed that she was neutralized, but death only lasts a week here. If so, she must have come back to the village somehow under the radar. We can't let another attack like that occur, not under any circumstances.

[Action;]

[Today will be the first day Homura allows herself to leave the house during the daytime hours. She hasn't been in communication with anyone in the village since she was brutually attacked by Mu, and only went out at night to retrieve either more medical supplies or food. If Madoka and the others found out she had been injured, they would surely......

...Well maybe Madoka would worry more than Mami and Kyouko. But, regardless, she didn't want to trouble anyone.

So she goes out from CH7 on a walk. To cover up the bandages around her upper body she's wearing long sleeve clothes, which look painfully inappropriate for the summer weather and can be seen taken a noticable tone on her. Her body has also considerably slown down, having to use most of the magic that keeps her running on healing the wounds. Every several minutes of walking is accompanied by her sitting down to rest and breathe, too weak to move. She can hardly even recall the last time she was so badly injured to this extent. In short, even while covering of her wounds, it's obvious she is not up to par at all.]

[Guess who still hasn't been totally filled in on the days she missed yet?]

Attacker? What happened?

[ Whatever bitch, you can't hide forever. Image Plus, your lone wolf syndrome isn't as gangsta as Kyouko's.

Regardless of this mun's stupidity in action tags, Kyouko zones in on her pretty quickly (those binoculars come in handy for once), leaping down from the roof to walk at her side as if she's been with her the entire time. ]

Hey, what gives? Aren't you warm?

She has returned.

We aren't likely to suffer from a repeat occurrence of the events of two weeks ago.

[Without moving the camera toward her, Homura writes back.]

On June the 18th a woman appeared in close proximity to the village and began attacking people without discrimination.

I'm sorry, but I find that rather difficult to believe.

[That person was determined to murder anything that she set her eyes on. No way Homura can let someone like that freely wander around the village.]

[someone else is out for a walk as well. She's heading from home to the library, so they probably pass on the road somewhere. Something about the other girl's gait, though, attracts her attention. When Homura makes one of her rest stops, she approaches.]

Excuse me... Are you all right?

[identity profile] chronica.livejournal.com 2011-07-01 02:34 pm (UTC)(link)
[She looks toward Kyouko with her trademark poker face.]

It's unlike you to show concern for me.

[Dodging that question like a pro.]

An understandable reluctance.

I have spoken to three people from that girl's world, however, who have all told me that this is unlikely to happen again.

[She doesn't turn toward Estelle, but she lets her tired expression turn quickly blank.]

I'm fine. There's no need to worry.

[A bad lie. Her voice sounds tired and she's clearly sweating, though the latter is likely just from the warm clothes.]

And what makes them so sure, if they know her destructive tendencies better than the rest of us?

[identity profile] chronica.livejournal.com 2011-07-01 02:37 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know who that is, but if he is a doctor then I'm sure he has a large share of patients still recovering. Which is why something like this can't happen again.

[Not that she's one of those patients, but she's definitely still recovering.]

So what if its unlike me? I'm asking, so just deal with it.

[Huh. Someone who actually views this whole situation logically, rather than assuming that dealing with that "attacker" once will suffice? This... almost surprises ν-13 a little. Almost. Most people seemed to consider the situation dealt with by now.

She'll take a moment to ready a filter, opting to respond using the voice feature. And this one's voice sounds very similar to Kusanagi's, although the tone is rather different. It sounds much more mechanical, and there's no hatred in her voice. It's just... emotionless.]

Current location of target... Unknown. Probability of target's presence at current location... above 98%. [By now, she should definitely have revived, just as Homura said.

There's a short pause before she continues to speak.]

...Possibility of target using a false name... 93%. [The 7% error margin exists mostly because it is possible that "Kusanagi" may still use either that name or "Mu", but given that there haven't been any reports of new attacks, the odds point more toward her predecessor being "Noel" again.]

[Voice, Filtered]

[identity profile] vulcanblazer.livejournal.com 2011-07-01 03:41 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll be honest with you, the investigation is still ongoing.

[He's seen Noel by now, he knows she's back to normal, but without a talk he can't say for sure this is done.]

But for now, I believe the threat to the village to be low. If something hadn't changed, we would've been attacked again by now. The responsible is not the type to lay low.

[Kusanagi isn't. Noel may be, but for now Adell still equates that Kusanagi is a completely separate personality as opposed to a part of Noel.]

[identity profile] mikangirl.livejournal.com 2011-07-01 04:06 pm (UTC)(link)
[People have a right to be nervous, so Nami bites down on the urge to be defensive on Noel's behalf. That being said, she'll also make sure she's not seen.]

The girl who attacked had just returned from a Malnosso kidnapping. She wasn't herself.

There isn't much I know. She appeared in the forest on the 18th and slaughtered many animals there. I caught her in the act and attempted to put her down before she could make it to the village. [...] I was unsuccessful and she continued her rampage.

[It comes with much hesitation, but she has to admit it. She failed to put that person down and was nearly killed in the process.]

What makes them so sure then? Did you ask?

[Normally she wouldn't be so pushy about it, but fact is that attacker made her intentions clear. To destroy anything it could set its sights on.]

[She shakes her head.]

I over-dressed for the weather. It's alright. [And to prove she is alright she attempts to stand up again. Attempt that is. Homura wobbles slightly as she pushes herself up, her entire upper body screaming in pain as she does.]

[identity profile] chronica.livejournal.com 2011-07-01 11:00 pm (UTC)(link)
[The sound of Nu's voice does indeed ring familiar. For a moment she's almost certain that this is her attacker and she uncharacteristically freezes. Not that Nu could see thanks to the obscured camera angle, but the response is delayed until Homura is certain that the person she's communicating with isn't the one who sliced her body with several swords at once.]

A false name? Like an alias or a codename? [That...doesn't actually sound too far-fetched. If this person was still in the village then they would certainly want to keep their name hidden. When she thinks about it, the attacker never did identify herself either...] Do you possibly know the attacker's name?

[Written, Filtered]

[identity profile] chronica.livejournal.com 2011-07-01 11:03 pm (UTC)(link)
[She pauses for a moment, the voice ringing familiar to her.]

You are the one who relayed the news of the attacker's death, correct?

While my concern is whether she will attack or not, her location is just as equal as a concern. She could be plotting for all we know after her failed attempt.
