[This morning a set of writing will appear. The writer, one Homura Akemi, is obscuring the camera angle so she won't be noticed. Not because she wants to hide her identity, but rather the makeshift bandages around her body. She's still slowly recovering using the Soul Gem's properties, but it isn't a fast paced healing in the slightest.]

Does anyone know where that attacker from two weeks ago is? It was stated by someone over the feed that she was neutralized, but death only lasts a week here. If so, she must have come back to the village somehow under the radar. We can't let another attack like that occur, not under any circumstances.

[Action;]

[Today will be the first day Homura allows herself to leave the house during the daytime hours. She hasn't been in communication with anyone in the village since she was brutually attacked by Mu, and only went out at night to retrieve either more medical supplies or food. If Madoka and the others found out she had been injured, they would surely......

...Well maybe Madoka would worry more than Mami and Kyouko. But, regardless, she didn't want to trouble anyone.

So she goes out from CH7 on a walk. To cover up the bandages around her upper body she's wearing long sleeve clothes, which look painfully inappropriate for the summer weather and can be seen taken a noticable tone on her. Her body has also considerably slown down, having to use most of the magic that keeps her running on healing the wounds. Every several minutes of walking is accompanied by her sitting down to rest and breathe, too weak to move. She can hardly even recall the last time she was so badly injured to this extent. In short, even while covering of her wounds, it's obvious she is not up to par at all.]

Yes, but the three of us could still make effort to strive for some kind of neutrality at least. I admit I have not been doing my part in it either.

It's not your fault.. O-or anyone's..! It shouldn't be fair for someone to have to take the first step while the other two would still be mean, so.. I'll just try talking to Mami-san and Kyouko-chan more about it.

[She wanted to say something bad to that. Madoka shouldn't need to work and worry for them, when she was the one who got along with everyone.]

I'm fine, Madoka. Just some rest and everything will be alright. [At least, that's the hope in mind. Climbing up those stairs to get back the apartment will be a pain though.]

Mami-san might get a little mad if you'd come to us, but if I'd go to you I'm sure there wouldn't be a problem..

It's only a little further up from my floor, right..? So.. I'm sure it should be okay.

Five floors. There isn't any need for you to walk up that much.

B-but still.. if it would make you happy that someone would walk with you all the way up, Homura-chan, I wouldn't mind it at all!

[She swallows down something dry in her throat, holding back protest that would sound too overdone. Homura shakes her head.]

Thank you very much for the offer, but I can make it on my own.

[ She pauses, for a moment, maybe looking slightly troubled-- but it's gone again as soon as it passes her face. ]

That's alright too. Whatever you want! Then we'll say goodbye for now when we get to my floor.

For now at least. [She'll begin walking up the stairs and, it's going to be very obvious that her pace is slower than usual. Painfully so.]

[ It's difficult to not notice it-- and so Madoka stops a little bit up on the stairs, her expression slowly changing to one of worry. ]

Homura-chan.. Are you.. um.. really sure you're okay? [ It might be a bit rude, to ask, but-- ] We're friends, right? You can tell me if something is wrong..

[She grits her teeth, but her expression remains as cold as ever. Friends...]

I'm alright. Please don't worry.

But.. you don't usually climb the stairs that slowly, right? Nobody would! And--

[ She halts her own rambling, looking a bit upset. ]

... I'm sorry.. I-I don't want to be rude..

[She stops on the stairwell for a moment and, for a very tiny fraction of a second, seems to smile a little.]

I'll be fine.

[ Was that a smile she spotted-- ... She isn't sure, and she feels like she should just accept it's okay if Homura just did smile, but.. ]

... If you say so.. [ She still looks a little worried though. ]

[Homura turns around to continue her slow climb up the stairs. They really need to install elevators in this place.]

[ Quickly catching up with her!! And constantly sneaking in peeks to the side to see how Homura is doing while climbing the stairs since she's still worried. She's actually.. quiet for quite some time, considering it's sort of awkward, but she figures she should speak up by now. ]

U-um.. so, Homura-chan.. Have you made any other friends here yet? [ awkward turtle. ]

[She pauses in her movement before softly shaking her head.]

There's no need to make friends here. This isn't a permanent place.

Even so.. Just staying here alone without friends would be a little lonely, right..?

I-I mean-- of course you have me, but..

I'll be fine.

[She says quickly. ...A part of her has to wonder how many times she's already said that today. But, she will be. She has to be. This is not her future. She won't stay trapped here.]
